Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the cafe’s website. Depending on how you use the site, that can include:

• Account details. If you create an account, the name you choose and a login credential. Your password is stored securely using one-way hashing — we never keep it in plain text and cannot read it.
• Orders. The name you put on an order, the drinks and customizations you pick, and when you placed them. Order names are shown to our staff and kitchen so we can prepare your order and call it out.
• Reviews. If you leave a review, the name displayed, your rating, and the text you write. Reviews are public on the site.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting may record standard information such as your browser type, and we use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

We do not ask for, and the site does not collect, any payment information — everything offered here is free.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• prepare and manage your orders;
• keep you signed in and show you your own order history;
• display the reviews you choose to post;
• keep the site secure, working, and free of abuse;
• respond to your questions and requests.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Where your information is stored

Your information is stored in a database hosted by Supabase, a third-party cloud provider that processes data on our behalf on servers in the United States. Passwords are stored using one-way hashing. We rely on Supabase’s security measures together with our own access controls, so that only authorized staff can reach customer data.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for marketing. We share it only:

• with our hosting provider (Supabase) so the site can run;
• if required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our customers, staff, or the cafe;
• publicly, in the case of reviews you choose to post.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to work — mainly to keep you signed in and to remember your light or dark display preference. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or for advertising. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, though doing so may sign you out.

How long we keep it

We keep account, order, and review information for as long as your account is active or as needed to run the cafe. If you would like your account or your reviews removed, contact us (below) and we will delete them, except where we need to keep something to comply with the law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you;
• correct or delete that information;
• remove a review you posted;
• close your account.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and significant changes may be noted on the site.
